G-Man!

What is G-Man! ?

G-Man is a small, free organizing utility designed to facilitate fast data entry &
retrieval. It was designed to emulate the spirit UNIX man pages. In a nutshell, it's a small
database program you can use to jot down notes (classifying them through keywords.)

Instructions

Creating a New Record:
Click on the New button. A window will pop up and you will be prompted to
enter at least one keyword and body of text to associate to it. Once you click on
the Ok button, the record will be created.

Modifying an Existing Record:
Left-click the record you wish to modify (this will actively select it.)
Then click on the Modify Button. A window will pop up with its information for you to change.
Once you click on the Ok button, the record will be updated.

Deleting an Existing Record:
Left-click the record you wish to delete (to actively select it.) Then by clicking on the Delete button,
you will instantly remove the record from the database..

Other Buttons

Query: Searches the database for any records whose headers contain the desired
keyword (entered by the user in the Keyword textfield.) All records matching the keyword
will be listed in the Keywords box.

Contains: Searches the database for any records containing the search string
(entered by the user in the Keyword textfield.) All records matching the
search string will be listed in the Keywords box.

Show All: Displays a list of all records within the database.

Exit: Closes the application

Copy: Copies the currently selected record's information to the clipboard
for your pasting convenience.

Help: Displays the text you are now reading in the Information
window.

Credits: Shows author and beta-team information.

Advanced: Lets you directly access the text file that G-Man uses to store its
database. For experienced users only.

Bug Report: Pops up a window so that the user may provide feedback (comments, criticisms, ideas, or political manifestos) to the developer.
